This Thing, PAIN

This Thing, Pain

Walking against the freezing wind
And a dismal smile of a moonlit sky above
A thundering silence of anxieties inside
Teary eyes and crack lips
Don’t you hear my deepest cries?

Beneath the shadows of winter trees
Misty face smelling the frozen earth
I am trapped…environed with sadness
A sensation of loneliness
Like a struggling fitful lamp
Against a blanket of blackness.

Don’t you really hear me?
The loudening shout of an aching heart
Flooded with loneliness
Standing alone
Against an assemblage of twinkling stars

Where are you now?
How soon you forgot the pledge
Don’t you discern my panic worries?
Smiling moon and dazzling stars,
Don’t you hear my bloody scars?

Will it all be over?
This thing they say is Pain…
That I surely don't wish to you too
For this is heavy and is killing.
Don’t you decipher my apprehension?
Against a stream of oblivion.

Why are we apart?
I thought we’ll be together forever
I can’t close my eyes
For I will see nothing but you
Your smile, your eyes…your gentle kisses
Just like a dream
For you are with someone else now.

A lot of pains…a bucket of tears
A ray of light from the moonlit sky
I sit beneath the dead branches
Cold and shaking
Trying to sway myself that you are still here
Waiting for you to call my name again.
